Debt Relief: The American Way

Our Palm Coast bankruptcy attorneys discuss about debt relief.

At this time of year our minds are drawn towards preparation for my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. It is a time to reflect on all the wonderful blessings that we have been given.  In an election year, it is also the time we get in touch with our patriotic sensibilities.

One of the greatest blessings we enjoy in America are the laws protecting our citizens from tyranny. Tyranny has been stamped out in most forms in our country, but financial tyranny and predation is alive and well.

In our state, there are still thousands facing imminent foreclosure, and many more still dealing with the rocky mountains of revolving debt, and great lakes of student loans.  The disparity between wage earners at the low and high end has grown into a grand canyon.

In our state, there are still thousands facing imminent foreclosure, and many more still dealing with the rocky mountains of revolving debt, and great lakes of student loans. Those facts seem gloomy, but providentially our lawmakers have maintained a system of relief from financial tyranny for their citizenry. Despite the transmogrifications over the years, the Bankruptcy Code, the veritable Declaration of Independence from Debt, is still there as our beacon of hope in an ocean of pecuniary despair.

Capitalism contemplates that there will be those, who at some time in their lives, may need a fresh start when the cycle of revolving debt is turning too fast to get off.  This was understood when the founders included the concept of bankruptcy in the very articles that confederated the early colonies.  Said another way; it is un-American to wallow under a debt burden from which you can never escape.

So if you are in a situation where you are in need of relief from mounting revolving debt, foreclosure, or are trying to save your home or business due unfortunate circumstances, I encourage you to come in and speak with us about your problem, so we can help you solve it.  Our initial consultation is free of charge.
